Breast Reduction

Not only a popular procedure among women, the breast reduction is the most common surgical procedure among men in the U.S.

Yes, in recent years breast reduction has become a very common procedure. Factor such as genetics, the ageing process, pregnancy and breast feeding, weight gain or loss, and even hormonal fluctuations can cause breasts, that were once firm and shapely, to sag and droop. A breast lift, or mastopexy, can help restore a firmer, shapelier breast and improve body contours.

How do I get a breast reduction?

It’s simple! Click here to get a quote. Once this is completed, we will contact our surgeons who will assess your photographs and information, for your free recommendation and quote.

We have Medi-Cation travel packages to suit every budget from 3 to 5 star.

You will be met at the airport and dropped to your hotel. The following day you will be picked up and taken for your consult with the surgeon. Your surgery usually follows the same afternoon as your consult. There are options when having a breast reduction and these will be discussed with your surgeon during the face to face and, after your pre surgical check up which will include blood tests and a EKG test.

Options such as a straight forward breast reduction or a breast reduction with a small implant. Implants may be round or tear drop, depending on what your surgeon recommends for your body shape.

Surgery usually takes between 4-8 hours and is done under a general anaesthetic. The length of the operation is dependent upon the severity of the sagging.

After surgery you will be taken back to your private room where you will spend 2 nights.

After 2 nights in the hospital you will be driven back to your hotel or apartment, where you can relax and enjoy your Medi-Cation. 7-10 days later you will be collected once again for a follow up with your surgeon.

You are required to stay 10-14 days in Thailand before traveling home.

FAQs about Breast Reduction

How does it work?
It’s as simple as telling us what procedure you’d like and when you’d like it.. and we’ll organise your flights, accommodation, transfers and surgery. Contact us today to enquire about Breast Reduction.

What is the difference between a breast lift and a breast reduction?
If you have physical symptoms like skin or posture problems or pain, you should consider breast reduction as a possible solution. Occasionally, a woman seeking a breast lift, may benefit from a breast enlargement with implants, if her goals for breast position and projection are not achievable with a lift alone.

Can my partner travel with me?
Yes! And at MediCation for those clients travelling on an individual package, we encourage you to take a friend or partner as this provides the best deal. We can make all the necessary arrangements.

Is the hospital safe?
Our affiliated hospitals are very safe with JCI accreditation. JCI accredited simply means Joint Commission International which in short are a not-for-profit affiliate of the Joint Commission. Their mission is to improve the quality of patient care by assisting International health care organisations, public health agencies and others. International Hospitals may seek accreditation to demonstrate quality, and JCI accreditation is considered a seal of approval by medical travellers from the U.S.

“I contacted Medi-Cation when I was considering having a face lift and breast augmentation. At the time I wasn’t sure about going to Phuket, Thailand, as I thought the surgery there would not be as professional as it is in NZ. Jacqui put my mind at rest.

Kat traveled with Medi-Cation and received her face lift and breast lift and breast augmentation surgeries in December 2016.
