Lipofilling (Fat Transfer)
Lipofilling (fat transfer or fat grafting) is now an established and popular technique.
It uses patients’ own fat as a permanent filler to add volume to soft tissues. Combined with liposuction, it’s like getting 2 procedures in 1.
Fat is removed from areas such as the thighs or abdomen, and is then transferred to areas such as the breasts, cheeks, or lips.
The type of anaesthesia used is dependant on which area is receiving fat transfer. Small areas such as the cheeks or lips are commonly done under a local anaesthetic and a hospital stay is not necessarily required, whereas lipofilling to the breasts for breast augmentation or to the buttocks, will be done under a general anaesthetic and 1 night in hospital will be required.
How do I get Lipofilling in Thailand?
It’s simple! Click here and complete the free quote form. Once this is completed, we will discuss your options with our surgeons.
We organise your flights, accommodation and all airport/hotel/hospital transfers. The day after you arrive you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the hospital for your surgical consult. Surgery usually follows the same afternoon.
Your fat transfer procedure will be discussed with your surgeon during the face to face and, after your pre surgical check up which will include all the necessary tests.
Surgery can take anywhere from 1-6 hours and is done under a general anaesthetic. The length of time is dependent on the area/areas having lipofilling / fat transfer.
After surgery you will be taken back to your private hospital room where you will spend 1 night.
The following morning you will be driven back to your hotel or apartment, where you can relax and enjoy your Medi-Cation. 3-7 days later you will be collected once again for a follow up with your surgeon.
You are required to stay 3-7 days in Thailand before traveling home.
